One of the few bands that bridge the gap between Stoner metal and Thrash. High on Fire is fast but not too fast, and has a definite Stoner metal vibe without being monotonous. The Vocals Fall somewhere Between Motorhead's Lemmy and Mastodon's Troy, mixed with a slight dash of pissed off hillbilly. The Guitars are thick and heavy, like an extra thick milkshake in the dead of winter... also sounding like older Mastodon, but less frantic/spastic.
