Drudkh - Autumn Aurora

Download

Drudkh - Autumn Aurora
Folky Black metal with a tinge of ambience. While the vocals are very conservative or "kvlt"(ugh) for black metal, thats about the only thing that fits the stereotypical black metal album requirements. Autumn Aurora seaps atmosphere from every track, each one being memorable and unique. Ive kind of grown out of most black metal, so there are few black metal bands I enjoy to this day, but Drudkh still remains one of those few.

Atmosphere is also typical of Black Metal.

well yes, but one could argue that nearly every type of music has an "atmosphere" to it. It can be a very loosely used term. This album is more of the ambient/soundscape to a forest full of trolls(or whatever evil mystical creature you wish)type of atmosphere, rather then the usual "sinister" or "satanic" atmosphere used by most of the bands revered as black metal legends. Not to say I don't like a good slap of sinister here and there.
